Vintage brown Polyprop Robin Day chairs in used condition. ( 118 )
This original British classic, is designed by Robin Day for Hille International in 1962.
This vintage chair has a minimal look, lightweight, easy to clean, very durable, stackable and linkable.
The Polyprop chair was launched after three years research and development.
Polypropylene was invented in 1954, but this material was not used in the furniture industry.
Robin Day and Hille researched the possibilities in order to make chairs with this new durable and cost-efficient material.
They did this in collaboration with the British company Shell.
Considering its age these chairs still in good vintage condition, with normal traces of use and wear.
